Thank You From Make-A-Wish Arizona

Dear Car Donation Foundation,
Although he’s only 12, William has big plans to be a set designer for LEGO when he grows up.
“Building with LEGO sets gives me a way to use my imagination and think outside the box,” said William, who was born with a congenital heart defect. “It takes my mind off stressful things and I create something cool.”
After a successful heart surgery, William was recovered and healthy just in time for his wish to visit the original LEGOLAND in Billund, Denmark!
“Make-A-Wish Arizona brought joy back into our lives after a really challenging time,” said William’s mother, Tracy. “We will always be grateful for what they did for our family.”
During his wish, William had the opportunity to go on rides at the park with his LEGOLAND passes, take an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of a LEGO-Making factory and spend time with a panel of LEGO set designers.
“My wish encouraged me even more to become a LEGO set designer someday!” said William.
“It was so cool to see the process of how LEGO sets are made,” he continued. “The designers were so nice and spent so much time talking to me and answering my questions – it was awesome!”
We thank you for Wheels For Wishes’ gift of $16,103.41 which we received on 9/24/2018. Together, we create life changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Sincerely,
