Leading up to our annual Hero Flight event, I’d like to update you on our activity to date. Largely made possible by the consistent and generous support provided through your Vehicles For Veterans program.

The Veterans Airlift Command has provided free private air transportation to over 21,000 combat injured veterans and family members for medical and other compassionate purposes through some 2600 volunteer aircraft owners and pilots nationwide.

I recognize that your contributions stem from the efforts of many individuals including your board of directors, and of course, your fundraiser, National Fundraising Management and its leadership, Randy Heiligman and Bill Bigley.

You have all contributed in a very significant way in the ongoing effectiveness the work of the VAC.

We greatly appreciate you. As do those we serve.
