Dear Car Donation Foundation,

I am delighted to accept your gift of $3,769.00. Your generosity strengthens our mission and transforms the lives of children in Northeastern California and Northern Nevada battling critical illnesses.

There are few experiences more powerful than making a wish like Anna’s, come true. Anna has spent her youth battling cardiomyopathy, a disease of the heart muscle. But despite all that she has endured, Anna has always found comfort in music. She has played the cello for 11 years, taking private lessons and performing in recitals and college plays. As a child, Anna spent her summers at music camps and was inspired to turn her passion into her life’s work as she studies Music Therapy at the University of the Pacific.

For many years it has been Anna’s dream to play the cello in the orchestra pit during a major musical, so Anna knew this would be the perfect wish for her. Anna took off to New York City where she stepped into the ensemble and showcased her musical talent for a production of the Broadway hit, Kinky Boots. Anna is incredibly grateful for her wish and she will forever cherish the memories she made during this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
