Thank You From Make-A-Wish® Arizona

Dear Car Donation Foundation,

Since David was diagnosed with his genetic disorder, finding foods he is able to eat has always been a challenge. So when he tried pizza for the first time, it became his favorite food!

Your donation will help Arizona kids like David experience a once-in-a-lifetime wish come true.

It was no surprise David wished to travel to the pizza capital of the world so he could learn to make pizza according to the traditional Neapolitan recipe!

“When we arrived in Italy, I couldn’t believe it. Tears started rolling down my face.” Said David’s mom, Sonia. “Make-A-Wish gave David something we could never give him on our own and made the impossible, possible.”

Throughout the week, David and his family visited famous landmarks like the Colosseum and the Spanish Steps, but David’s favorite part was tasting his masterpiece at an authentic Italian pizza parlor.

“Oh God, the pizza! It was like nothing you can have anywhere else. They were happy to teach me and apparently I picked it up pretty well!” said David. “ The fact that there are people who actually wanted to help me fulfill my wish, it’s just amazing. I am so thankful and I can’t get over that.”
