With your generosity, we can continue providing wishes for hundreds of children throughout Los Angeles County, The knowledge that wishes have a definite and positive impact on the healing process inspires us to help every eligible child experience the transformative power of a wish.

During his season of giving, we’re inspired by wish kids who recognize the importance of giving back- like 18-year-old Brianna, who wishes to help others during their tough times. Brianna’s own fight against cancer motivated her to wish to volunteer in another country. Together with her family, Brianna traveled to Costa Rica where they gave their time to an orphanage, helping to improve the children’s lives. Brianna says the experience taught her valuable lessons about life. She recalls, “there is so much that can be taken for granted in life. It’s important to take in every moment and not be disappointed when not everything goes as planned.”

This year, the Los Angeles chapter’s goal is to grant at least 300 wishes. However, each year more than twice that many children are diagnosed in Los Angeles County with a life-threatening illness and are qualified to receive a wish. Now more than ever, we need to close this gap so that every eligible child receives a wish. That is why your donation means so much to us.
