Thank You From Make-A-Wish® Arizona

Dear Mr. Dorshow:

This holiday season, your donation is helping to grant twice as many wishes for Arizona kids living with critical illnesses.

If you are a new donor or increased the amount of your gift this year, your generous contribution will be matched to help kids like 9-year-old Penelope, who wished to go to New York City during the holidays.

“Penelope fought so hard to be cancer free, and when her cancer came back even more aggressively it was the hardest thing we’ve ever had to go through,” said her mom, Perla. “But her wish changed everything.”

After only seeing New York City in books and movies, Penelope spent a week exploring The Big Apple and visiting landmarks like The Statue of Liberty, Times Square and the Bronx Zoo!

“I have not seen my daughter this happy in a long time,” said Perla. “We are so thankful, and her wish is something she will remember for the rest of her life.”
