Thank You From Make-A-Wish® Northeast New York

Thank you for helping make wishes come true for critically ill children in our region!

Your recent gift of $4,111 to support Wheels for Wishes helps us to grant wishes for local children with life-threatening medical conditions each year who live within our fifteen-county region that covers the 518 and 838 area codes. This includes children like Ainsley, a vibrant and energetic four-year-old diagnosed with cancer as a toddler.

Ainsley’s wish was to visit Walt Disney World and meet all of her favorite characters, like Minnie Mouse and Cinderella. She enjoyed her time exploring Disney World with her parents and older sister Avalon. She loved the thrill of the rides, getting character autographs, and watching parades and fireworks.

None of the wonder and excitement of Ainsley’s wish could have happened without the wonderful generosity of donors like you. Ainsley and her family enjoyed a worry-free week in sunny Florida where their time spent as a family provided a special healing all its own. On behalf of Ainsley, and all of our Wish Kids this year, I thank you for your generosity and your commitment  to making wishes come true  for critically ill children and teens.
