Make-A-Wish Wisconsin

Dear Car Donation Foundation,

You are making a significant impact on the lives of children with critical illnesses, their families and your community through your contribution of $7,429.28 to Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Wisconsin. Thank you. Your support is moving us closer to granting the wish of every eligible child in Wisconsin – children like Jakob.

“Prior to our trip, Jakob’s wish was a tool we used to help on hard days,” said Jakob’s parents after returning from his wish to go to Honolulu. “When Jakob was having a procedure or challenging time, we talked with him about his wish. Jakob’s wish gave us the opportunity to find our child-like joy and have it take root in us once again. His wish replaced fear and uncertainty and allowed our children to feel joy and happiness, and that was a beautiful thing!”

Currently, more than 350 children like Jakob are in the process of receiving wishes across Wisconsin, and through the generosity of donors like you, more children will experience the power of a wish. Faith wishes to go on a European cruise. Michael wishes to meet Tony Hawk while Kelly wishes to go to Hawaii, Izzy, Micah, Travis and many others wish to go to Walt Disney World® Resort.

According to a recent international wish impact study, a Make-A-Wish experience leads to increased emotional and physical health for the wish children. On behalf of those wish kids, their families, volunteers, the Board of Directors and Make-A-Wish Wisconsin staff, we thank YOU for your heartfelt commitment to the Make-A-Wish® mission.
