Thank You From Make-A-Wish® Arizona

Dear Car Donation Foundation,

For as long as he can remember, Arizona wish kid Kaleb has loved baseball.

“Kaleb was born with a congenital heart condition and he has gone through so much,” said Kaleb’s mom, Jenny.” His doctor said he would never be able to play sports but Kaleb is driven to beat the odds and baseball has been such a great outlet for him.”

Baseball is such an inspiration to Kaleb, he knew his wish would involve the sport- and his favorite team, the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Kaleb’s wish be an Arizona Diamondbacks player was granted just last year but its memory lives on every time he takes the field with his Little League team.

“I played catch with Paul Goldschmidt, my favorite player!” said Kaleb. “ He gave me some pointers so that I could get better when I played with my own team.”

Kaleb was designated a true member of the team for his wish day, complete with a locker, multiple new jerseys with his name on it and the opportunity to throw out the first pitch as the designated bat boy for the game.”
