Dear Car Donation Foundation,

Thank you for your year-end gift of $10,000.00. Your support means so much to so many! Together we’re creating life-changing wishes for kids with critical illnesses and transforming the lives of all involved. Your gift to Make-A-Wish® Nebraska impacts the children we serve. Because of your generosity, volunteers can grant wishes for children like 7-year-old Matison.

Battling a nervous system disorder is a day-to-day process for Matison and her family as their lives are taken over by doctor visits, hospital stays, and painful treatments. Despite her illness, Matison is a pretty typical little girl whose favorite color is pink and who loves to play with her baby dolls and Barbie dolls. When our wish granters met with Matison, she said she loved Disney princesses and wanted to meet ALL of them! So the wish granters got started planning her family’s trip to Walt Disney World Resorts®!

Matison, her mom, dad, and 3 sisters started their trip with a limo ride to the airport! After arriving in Florida, they were whisked off to Give Kids the World Village, a resort which is specifically set up for wish families. From there, they were able to visit all 4 Disney parks and Matison had such a fantastic time riding all the rides and meeting all the princesses and so many other Disney characters. As it turned out, she enjoyed meeting Mickey Mouse almost as much as he did meeting the princesses.

Thanks to supporters like you, Make-A-Wish Nebraska has granted over 2,600 wishes to children like Matison. Thank you for helping us transform lives, one wish at a time!
