Dear Mr. Dorshow,
Our community is so important to us, especially during this challenging time. We hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe and well.
The need for hope has never been greater than it is right now and we thank you for your generous gift of $29,964.95 to Make-A-Wish North Texas.
As an organizations completely funded through philanthropy, we are feeling the economic consequences of this pandemic across our organization with crucial fundraising events now postponed or cancelled. And with roughly 80% of our local wishes involving travel and/or attendance at large gatherings, many of our wish granting efforts are impacted as well.
While our environment may change, our mission will not. Our organization must continue to thrive so that when the moment comes, Make-A-Wish North Texas will be ready; And with your continued support, we will be ready to grant wishes. How many wishes we grant and how quickly we grant them will come down to funding. Your support brings hope to our community at a time when it’s needed the most. In this time of uncertainty, you are giving kids hope for a better tomorrow.
