Dear Car Donation Foundation,

At the Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego, we have an ambitious vision – to grant the wish of every eligible child because, because we know when a wish is granted a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope. This is why I would like to personally thank you for your generous gift of $13,315.40 on 2/20/2019. There are few experiences more powerful than making a wish come true.

But what if a wish could improve the health of a child fighting a critical illness? In a first-of-its-kind study, Nationwide Children’s Hospital found that patients who were granted a wish were more likely to have fewer emergency department visits and shorter hospital stays. Wishes can give kids the strength they need to fight harder. For children who are battling a critical illness, a wish can give them and their families a chance to believe that anything is possible.
