Dear Car Donation Foundation,
When a wish comes true, it creates strength, hope, and transformation. That is why we are committed to our vision of making every eligible child’s wish to come true.
Thank you for the donation of $2,197.51 for our Wheels For Wishes program. Your support helps us create a magical wish experience, whether it be a travel wish to destinations such as Walt Disney World® or Hawaii, items such as playsets or sensory rooms or meeting sports teams or celebrities, you are helping to bring much-needed joy to a sick child.
This past fiscal year, we granted 80 wishes to kids facing critical illnesses throughout South Dakota. Today, the average wish costs around $7,200, and that amount continues to rise. We have more than 75 kids statewide that we are currently working with and will receive wishes in the coming months.
Wish mom Jill had this to say about the experience for her daughter Jayce, 3, of Parkston, who went to Walt Disney World for her wish: “This wish trip was more than just a trip to my family. It was hope when we didn’t think we could handle another day.”
