On behalf of Operation Homefront and the tens of thousands of military and veterans families we serve, I want to personally thank you for your generous gift of $75,000 on March 25, 2019.
Your gift helps us fulfill our important mission: to build strong, stable and secure military families, so that they may thrive in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. Our vision is to be the provider of choice for short-term and critical assistance, long term stability, and recurring support programs for military families, and we couldn’t do this without you. In 2019, you will help us achieve some very important programmatic milestones:
- Support our 600th military family by providing over 5,300 months of residency, and save them over $6M in rent and utility costs through our Transitional Housing Villages.
- Graduate our 575th military family from the Homes on the Homefront program, and provide $80M in deeded home equity.
- Provide our 375,00th backpack with school supplies to a military child, saving families over 40M in back to school expenses through Back-To-School Brigade events.
- Fulfill our 45,00th request through our Critical Financial Assistance programs and provide over $30M in support of military families by 2020.
You entrust us with your generous gift, and we are committed to using your gift efficiently and where it is needed most. In 2018, 92% of Operation Homefront expenses went to programs that provide support to our nation’s military families.
