Thank you for your contribution of $50,000.00 given to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children- Salt Lake City. Your generosity has made you a partner with our world-class medical staff in transforming the lives of children, making t possible for our children to meet challenges and achieve great things. You have helped many patients like Katy.

Scoliosis had affected Katy for as long as she can remember: she had been the target of bullying, often had missed school, and been on the sidelines for many spots. At age 15, and with a 68-degree curve in her spine, she requires spinal fusion surgery. The goal was to get her spine to a more manageable 25-30 degree curve. Her successful procedure took place in the fall of 2015, and she’s been steadily healing and rebuilding her life ever since. An important part of her recovery included creating an Instagram profile: @Scoliosis.Superherp, to inspire teens with scoliosis and other conditions to stay strong and positive so they can get through their challenges.

Thank you for making it possible to give Katy the care she needs to thrive!  Indeed, your donation is Love to the Rescue. Katy is just one of the thousands of children who benefit from care at Shrines Hospital for a wide variety of orthopedic conditions.
