Dear Car Donation Foundation,

On behalf of all of us here at Wishes & More®, thank you for your incredibly generous donation of $25,000! As you know, this outstanding gift supports our very important mission of granting wishes and scholarships to kids with terminal and life0threatening conditions; and our memorial grant program for the parents of children who did not survive to have their wish come true. This month we are sharing Ethan’s story.

Nineteen-year-old Ethan was dealing with the emotional stress of his dad being diagnosed with brain cancer when he received the devastating news that he also had a brain tumor! His surgery left him unable to speak and paralyzed on his right side, but six weeks at Mayo rehab had him walking on his own and chatting away. When we first met Ethan, he was carefully weighing wish ideas until he decided on the perfect wish: a trip to LA to see his favorite TV show raped live and in-person- The Big Bang Theory! Thrilled to make this wish happen, we booked the trip and the show. And the timing was perfect because we found out that this was the shows final season!

As Ethan and his family made their way to California, Delta flights treated Ethan and his family like celebrities, Delta flights treated Ethan and his family like celebrities. They stayed at a boutique hotel in Hollywood and before the taping, they took in some sights on their own and visited the Santa Monica Pier and the LA Zoo. Then it was time for the taping! After years of watching his favorite show from his living room, Ethan was now a VIP ticket holder watching it from the second row! He said the taping was “amazing” and it was “A trip of a lifetime”.
