Dear Car Donation Foundation,

Thank you for your generous contribution of $5,174.3 to Wishes & More®. As you know, your gift supports our mission of granting wishes and scholarships to kids with terminal and life-threating conditions and our memorial grant program for the parents of children who did not survive to have their wish come true.

A wish story that we think you may enjoy is about an adventurous 8-year-old from Pine Island. Gabe was diagnosed with cancer and had endured numerous, lengthy stays in the hospital and many chemo treatments. His family is very close, and they really love camping and spending time together in the great outdoors especially at all our great State Parks. They have outgrown their tent; and when Wishes & More asked Gabe what he would like to receive for his wish, he said, “a camper would be super cool!” Knowing that granting this wish would give him something to look forward to when he was having tough days, we were thrilled to hear how ecstatic he was when he received his “gently used” camper. His mom gave him a map and Gabe started pinning the places he wants to go explore. We’re sure the adventures are just beginning for this great kid and his family!
