Dear Loren,

Thank you for your generous contribution of $7,134.09 to Wishes & More®, and for your loyal support! Your ongoing generosity to our humble Minnesota-based organization is so appreciated and makes you a part of the joy that a wish-come-true brings to the life of a child experiencing a life-threatening illness. Allow me to share Charley’s story with you.

At just 7 years old, endearing Charley underwent a heart transplant. During his recovery, he told Wishes & More that his number one wish was to visit Disney World. Of course, we complied, and Charley’s mother graciously presented us a precious scrapbook full of charming photos from their magical trip. She shared, “From the moment he purchased his ‘Stitch’ hat, it remained on his head throughout his trip!” Grandparents are also affected by how meaningful a wish can be and Charley’s grandmother verified this by sending us a beautiful note telling us she was moved to tears by all that was provided by Wishes & More and she poignantly stated, “Everyone should feel that totally loved, cared for, and blessed at least once in their lifetime.”

We can’t cure the children we serve and we can’t remove the heartache experienced by those that love them, but we can take their cares away for a while. We can make their fondest wish come true and involve their family in the joy of the extraordinary experience. Thank you for being part of our team enabling us to provide these experiences for kids like Charley.
